R&J Painting COVID-19 Policies

To our valued clients and friends:

Sadly, it is apparent that we all are dealing with an escalating crisis that is affecting not only the community we serve but the entire world. We have contacted the local government offices and determined that we are considered an essential business. I have immediately taken action to safeguard the well-being of my employees and to do our part to limit the spread of this virus with all current and future clients by strictly adhering to the CDC social distancing guidelines as well as additional precautions.

I conduct Safety Training every week. At our most recent training handouts, supplies, and discussions on following CDC, WHO, and OSHA guidelines as it relates COVID-19 was tackled. Emphasis on the importance of protecting themselves and others from getting sick, as well as doing their part in stopping the spread of COVID-19. I also addressed and stressed the importance of staying home when not feeling well, using respiratory etiquette and hand hygiene was thoroughly covered.

In addition to keeping my employees mindful of all safety guidelines, new policies and procedures have gone into effect immediately.

  • Each employee has at their disposal, masks, gloves, and protective covering for work boots.
  • For added protection and safety, each crew has a supply of Hand Sanitizers, Antibacterial Soap, and disinfected cleaner.
  • Crew members are limited to 2-3 at each project
  • Each Crew Leader sets a reminder timer every hour, and each employee will wash their hands.

Please be assured that none of my employees have traveled over the last year, nor have they been in known contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19. As soon as readily available, R&J Painting will be looking into testing each employee at my cost for COVID-19, whether symptoms are present or not.

I have an open line of communication with each employee. My employees understand my leniency during this time. They are strongly encouraged to call me immediately if either themselves or anyone of their family members is not feeling well. Be it COVID-19 symptoms such as Fever, Cough, or Shortness of breath, or any other sign.
